I am an artist, a daydreamer, a lover of nature and creating art has always been my passion. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and I have a strong attachment to this enchanting part of the world. I have been showing my original paintings in and around Oregon and Washington State for the past few years. I have participated in solo shows, group shows and art and craft fairs.
I first started my etsy shop to sell prints of my originals. I wanted to make my art more accessible and visable to the surrounding universe. I occasionally create smaller original paintings and put them up for sale in my shop
My original work is primarily done with acrylic paint, but often i find using collected and found objects adds to the overall essence and composition of some pieces. A lot of these objects are found on hikes or walks around the lovely Pacific Northwest.
I have a strong affinity towards vivid colors and organic textures. Most of my work consists of a juxtaposition of feminine figurative subjects and natural settings. My aim is to establish an exchange between viewers and the larger universe...whether it be the soft red light of a cheek or the incandescence of a fallen seed pod. I want to bring the observer into curious introspection, to see what has always existed around them, viewed in a new light.
